Health Information Systems Advisor
Moira provides technical assistance to Member Associations in the areas of information systems strengthening and meaningful use of data. She promotes a culture of quality coordination, continuity of health care, and the efficiency of data management to improve decision-making. Moira also assists Member Associations in selecting, implementing, using their Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, as well as developing and improving electronic health records and data reporting.
Prior to joining IPPF/WHR, Moira worked in the areas of economic development and HIV prevention and advocacy at Gay Men’s Health Crisis, STRIVE New York, and Círculo de la Hispanidad. Moira holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with major in International Management.

What's the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
During the cotton harvesting season in Bolivia, many adolescent mothers work from dawn until dusk picking cotton, which requires them to remain in a bent-over position while dragging a 70-pound sack. They do the work in 40°C/100°F weather while carrying their small babies on their backs.
