Senior Officer, Social Enterprise
Meradith is responsible for analyzing the processes and investments involved in implementing our regional growth strategy. Her work focuses on supporting Member Associations in the design of sustainable business plans that will support service growth.
Meradith came to IPPF/WHR with six years of management experience in the NGO and private sectors in Costa Rica, where she co-founded and directed Abriendo Mentes, a nonprofit that works to address economic and educational disparities in Guanacaste. Meradith also worked as a Business Analyst with the Grameen Foundation, designing financial models to support the development of mobile agriculture projects in rural Africa. She is passionate about utilizing her analytical skills to contribute to social initiatives that realize a global impact.
Meradith holds a Master of Business Administration from the George Washington University, where she was a Global Fellows Scholar, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, in a tiny town called Highlands.

What's the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
I summited the Rincon de la Vieja volcano crater during sunrise in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, with the clarity to see both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans in a 360-degree view.
