Development & Advocacy Officer
Maria is responsible for supporting the Resource Mobilization efforts of IPPF/WHR's Member Associations in the region as well as international advocacy efforts. She does this by providing technical assistance, tracking and analyzing shifts in international aid architecture, and sharing funding opportunities from international sources.
Maria has worked broadly with European donors and recipient country governments. She has worked as a consultant for the German Foundation for World Population, International Civil Society Support, CARE, Asia Pacific Alliance, and Family Care International.
Maria has a Master’s degree in Psychology and a post-graduate Master's degree in International Relations.

The strength of the women of Ngong, Kenya, who were HIV-positive and continued to have an approach to life that was exceptional.
