Senior Grants Officer
Lindsey McCormack is responsible for building support for IPPF/WHR among foundations, corporate partners, and government and multilateral agencies. She partners with the program, evaluation, and finance teams to develop proposals that capture the scope and impact of IPPF/WHR’s work. Prior to joining IPPF/WHR, she worked at Forestdale, a community-based family services agency in Queens. She has also been a freelance journalist focusing on child welfare and science. From 2003 to 2005, she was the English-language speechwriter for Oscar Arias, the former president of Costa Rica and Nobel laureate. A proud mom of two, she received her BA in History and Literature from Harvard University.

What is the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
Most awe-inspiring: phosphorescent plankton off a Costa Rican beach. Most sobering: the Cerro Rico in Potosí, Bolivia, where miners continue working to this day. Most cinematic: the 7 line from Times Square to Flushing (loved it so much I made Jackson Heights my home).
