Arlety Del Pino
As a member of the logistics team, Arlety monitors the shipment of health commodities to Member Associations. She also supports the Logistics Senior Program Advisor in the analysis of commodities reports and annual program budgets to ensure countries have adequate health commodities to meet the needs of the population.
Prior to joining IPPF/WHO, Arlety worked in the field of HIV and STI prevention in various countries in Latin America, where she planned and evaluated peer-led health education initiatives funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Arlety has also worked in international economic and community development in Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic.
Arlety holds a Masters in International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. She is currently completing a Master of Public Health.

What's the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
The volcanoes in Nicaragua. Spending the night in Ometepe Island and hiking one of its two volcanoes was an incredible experience.
