Adriana is currently pursuing a Speech Therapy Degree at the University of San Andres School of Medicine in La Paz. She has participated in several trainings and workshops related to the sexual and reproductive health and rights, including advocacy, prevention of violence and masculinities, as well as leadership and entrepreneurship. She is also strengthening her English-speaking skills at the Bolivian-American Center.
She is currently the Coordinator of the National Network of Youth Leaders “You Decide” in Bolivia, which she joined in 2013. Since that year, Adriana has participated in numerous volunteering initiatives with CIES, the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the UN, and the Ministry of Transparency, among many others. Her volunteer work has been centered in empowering youth, sexuality education, youth employment, development of leadership skills in youth and gender based violence.
Adriana has been awarded various recognitions for her volunteer work, such as a Recognition Certificate for her volunteer work in favor of the Bolivian society, granted by CUSO International in 2015, and an appearance in the book “Me, the volunteer. Bolivian Women Changing the World” in 2014.
