This publication explores IPPF/WHR's efforts to effectively address the health needs of street youth in Bolivia, Guatemala, and Peru. The project used a peer-based, harm reduction approach to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and the communities in which they live. It empowered youth living in vulnerable circumstances to be agents in their own lives and promoted a rights-based approach to encourage vulnerable youth to exercise their right to access appropriate and effective services.
