24-year-old Trazil works seven days a week, rising at 4am to cast his fishing nets before traveling to his job as a construction laborer. Last year he and his girlfriend, L’Anglie, 22, went to PROFAMIL’s clinic when she became pregnant with their daughter.

On February 26, 2008 sixteen non-governmental organizations (NGOs) launched the ongoing Campaign for a Stronger Gender Equality Architecture Reform (GEAR), at the United Nations. The GEAR campaign calls on United Nations Member States to create a stronger United Nations entity for women.
