Reaching Out: Fall 2011

Reachout_fall_2011.pdf1.38 MB

Reaching Out is a quarterly newsletter we send to our donors. In this edition, you will learn about a new model for HIV testing and treatment and sexual and reproductive health services being pioneered by our Member Association in the Dominican Republic. You will hear from two of our donors: a 6-year-old girl named Abby and a man who ran the New York Marathon to raise money for our Member Association in Haiti. Also, an editorial by International Planned Parenthood Council Chair, Alexander Sanger, marks the 30th anniversary of the discovery of HIV/AIDS with a brief review of the struggle to fight the disease and a cautiously hopeful look toward future success.
