Reaching Out is a biannual newsletter we send to our donors. In this edition, we explore how our Venezuelan partner is making comprehensive sexuality education more accessible through a humorous—and memorable—theatre show in a country with one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates in Latin America. We learn how 19-year-old Adrianna navigates her adolescence in Peru where accurate information about sexual and reproductive health is hard to come by. We also meet Neal Parker, a longtime volunteer, who dedicates his Saturdays to escorting Planned Parenthood clients from the parking lot to the clinic. You will also learn about our planned giving program, so that you can make a legacy gift that will improve the lives of women, men, and young people for generations to come.
