Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is the IPPF/WHR member association in the United States, and it is a separately incorporated entity.  PPFA is the umbrella organization of local Planned Parenthoods throughout the United States.  Their 97 unique, locally governed affiliates across the United States operate nearly 880 health centers.  Every year, more than 1.2 million adults and youths participate in Planned Parenthood educational programs.
