What's the most amazing thing you've seen while traveling?
During a trip to Mexico, I met a health promoter in a rural village named Rosario who made a tremendous impression on me. Rosario was a volunteer for our Member Association, Mexfam. She distributed contraceptives, often times in secret, to local women whose husbands had forbidden them to use it. Rosario proudly donned her white jacket with Mexfam's logo on the front and risked her own safety to help women plan their families. She knew this was critical to creating hope and opportunity for women in her country.
