Member Association Financial Analyst
In 2010, Mauro came to IPPF/WHR with extensive experience in financial management and grants administration. In this role he supports the development and implementation of IPPF/WHR’s policies and procedures related to Member Association budgeting and finance, accounting, and automated financial systems. Mauro provides technical assistance in financial management, analysis, and sustainability. He also provides extensive support on budgeting and reporting for restricted projects at the regional office level.
Prior to joining IPPF/WHR, Mauro worked in Action Against Hunger as the field finance manager. He was accountable for financial management of three country-offices in Kenya, Uganda, and South Sudan.
Mauro worked for several years in the banking sector. Initially, he worked in Bolivia as an analyst of organization and methods, where he was responsible for business processes reengineering and nationwide training. Later, he moved to New York to work as the operations and accounting manager at Corfinge Inc, a subsidiary of Banco Cuscatlan, Central America.
Mauro holds degrees in Business Management and Industrial Engineering. He currently pursuing a Master in Public Administration.
