Jenny Shapiro
Resource Mobilization Officer
As the Resource Mobilization Officer at IPPF/WHR, Jenny supports the Resource Mobilization team in the development of proposals and reports for institutional donors and assists with overall grants management.
Prior to her position at IPPF/WHR, she was the US Grants Director and Outreach Coordinator for The Genesis Foundation, a foundation supporting educational programs for children in Colombia and in Hispanic communities in the United States. Her commitment to women’s sexual and reproductive health extends beyond her role at IPPF/WHR—she is also a birth doula and a lactation counselor who believes in empowering women as they make their life changing transition into motherhood.
Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies and Spanish from Brandeis University and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy.
