Betsy Uribe

Organizational Learning Coordinator | MA Relations

Betsy came to IPPF/WHR with more than 10 years of experience managing international projects and teams in the United States and Dominican Republic. As the Organizational Learning Coordinator, she supports organizational learning and the strengthening of processes related to issues affecting Member Associations though close collaboration across departments. Betsy also supports IPPF/WHR's core grants process, administers the Capacity Building Fund, assists with the South-South technical assistance initiative, and builds knowledge through interdepartmental coordination, data analysis, and the use of new technologies.

Before moving to the US, Betsy worked with international NGOs, the Israeli Embassy, and her family's business in the Dominican Republic. She is a trained doula and holistic healing practitioner, and volunteers for AFS Intercultural Programs to promote intercultural understanding.

Betsy holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business and a post-graduate degree in International Management from the Ecole Internationale des Affairs et du Management in Martinique. She also has certification in Project Management for Development Organizations.
