“I’ve been at BEMFAM for three years. I do all the prevention educational activities, both for clients and the youth center; organize the clinical services; in-take interviews with new clients; and provide referrals, including HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence. BEMFAM’s work is very important; especially its prevention and STI work because the public healthcare system has very little access to family planning. Patients get lost in the system. Our work on sexual diversity and reducing prejudice is also very important."
